Our Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is the cornerstone of our community, driven by dedicated volunteers who invest their time and energy to ensure our area remains safe and welcoming.

These community members patrol our streets, during all hours of the day and night, keeping an eye out for any suspicious behaviour and
reporting it promptly. Over 4,000 kilometres have been driven patrolling the area to deter criminal activity. Their vigilance is a key factor in deterring potential crime and maintaining a sense of security within our neighbourhood.

NHW works in close collaboration with SB Security, a partnership that significantly enhances our ability to prevent crime. Together,
they create a formidable presence that discourages unlawful activities.

Should any incidents occur, NHW and SB Security work hand-in-hand with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and the South African Police Service (SAPS) to ensure that cases are promptly reported and that suspects
are swiftly apprehended. This coordinated approach is essential in maintaining the safety and peace of mind that we all value.

The NHW's role extends beyond just security. They also partner with the Sundowner Community Association (SCA) to focus on broader community
improvement projects. Whether it's cleaning up our streets, adding new security features, or improving existing ones, the NHW is actively
involved in making our neighbourhood not just safe, but also a pleasant place to live. Their efforts help ensure that our environment remains clean and well-maintained, contributing to the overall well-being of everyone in our community.
